CARROLL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Two people are facing multiple charges after a Carroll County deputy fired shots at a fleeing vehicle during a confrontation Thursday morning, according to Kentucky State Police.
KSP says 28-year-old Clinton Meadows and 34-year-old Holly Price are both charged with attempted murder of a police officer, fleeing or evading police, and other related offenses.
Investigators say an off-duty deputy confronted Meadows and Price after finding them parked on private property along State Road 55. According to the release, the deputy fired shots when the vehicle allegedly drove toward him.
Meadows and Price were later arrested following a crash in some woods. No injuries were reported.
State police are continuing to investigate the incident.
