SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Tennessee law enforcement agencies are warning the public of a mass text scam being sent around involving a fake threat from the Tennessee Department of Vehicles.
The text warns of a “final notice” for penalties that are set to begin on June 8.
“This is NOT legitimate,” the Shelbyville Police Department said. “Do NOT click any links or provide personal information.”
