A man is behind bars in Tupelo after being accused of arson.
On May 25, authorities say they were called to Wayne Drive in reference to an alleged arson. When they arrived, they found an unoccupied home that appeared to have been intentionally set on fire.
Christopher Malone, 45, of Clarksdale, was arrested and charged with first-degree arson.
On Wednesday, a Tupelo Municipal Court Judge ordered Malone to be held without bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
