TAMPA, Fla. — The affordable housing conversation continued at the Tampa Bay Regional Affordable Housing Forum — with new proposals and growing concerns about adequate funding.

“It is totally unrealistic for us to maintain this 80% AMI (area median income level). That needs to be raised. I don’t know how we can’t do that, but it’s becoming more difficult to get people under 80% into homes,” said Sylvia Alvarez, CEO of the Housing Education Alliance.
