A Boston-based civil rights group submitted a complaint to the Trump administration on Thursday, alleging that immigration agents carried out an unlawful, violent arrest of a father of three in front of his wife and children on Mother’s Day in Chelsea.
The 16-page complaint, submitted to the US Department of Homeland Security and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is a precursor to filing a federal lawsuit, according to Lawyers for Civil Rights, which submitted the document on behalf of Daniel Flores-Martinez, his wife Kenia Guerrero, and their three children, ages 3, 12, and 14.
