AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - The Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department announced it will join with Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and community volunteers to clean up Martin Road Park on Saturday morning.

According to the department, the clean-up event will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. at Martin Road Park, with volunteers participating in park upkeep and receiving swag bags as supplies last.

Officials noted the clean-up event will follow a similar one held in 2024 and others held around the city. With more than 65 parks on its roster, Amarillo offers a broad range of outdoor spaces for community members, but its departments also encourage community members to help keep them clean and open for everyone to enjoy.
