TEEN Mom star Kailyn Lowry's son formerly known as Isaac has come out as gay and revealed his new name on her podcast, Barely Famous.

Kailyn 's oldest son told fans he has decided to start going by his middle name, Elliott, and spoke out about his personal life for the first time.

"I started going by Elliott, because at some point, I wasn't happy with my first name," he said on the Friday, June 6 episode. "It just doesn't feel like me."

Kailyn said she believes he prefers Elliott to separate who he was on MTV as a child, and who he is now. Elliott agreed that was at least partially true.

Elliott also said he wanted to speak out about his sexual orientation for the first time publicly, and disclosed he identifies as gay.
