MOORE COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - Following recent rainfall and severe weather on the High Plains, the Moore County Sheriff's Office took to social media Friday morning to warn travelers and community members to avoid the area of FM 722 and Stallwitz Road due to flooding.
A photo of road conditions around FM 722 and Stallwitz Road posted by the sheriff's office showed at least one vehicle stalled in floodwaters filling the roadside ditches and covering parts of the road surface at around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Travelers should practice caution on the roadways and check for road closures, detours and other travel conditions before beginning their trip. Further, travelers should be aware of possible stalled vehicles or emergency responders on or near the roadways due to various flooded conditio
