Crystal Lake Alpaca Farms has over 60 alpacas they shear yearly for their fluffy and unique fibers.
The Alpaca fibers are hypoallergenic and softer than wool, making them ideal for socks and sweaters.
Their fibers can also be used to make yarn. The yarn is used to make mittens, hats and headbands featured in Crystal Lake Alpaca Farms boutiques.
9&10’s Megan Huiskens headed to the farm and met some of the alpacas.
