The Central Alberta Children’s Festival is back for its 19th year, bringing two full days of family-friendly fun to Recreation Centre Park in Red Deer.

Taking place today and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the annual event offers children and families the chance to learn, play and explore through hands-on activities and live entertainment.

With more than 40 tents and activity stations set up throughout the park, the festival features a wide range of interactive opportunities, including Science World, Pioneer Village, arts and crafts, storytelling, and physical games.

Highlights also include areas focused on health and wellness, creativity, and cultural diversity, such as "The Diversity Corner".
