A bull is on the loose in a Birmingham suburb.

Passersby filmed the black bull trotting past the Golden Suite event space along Anderton Road in Small Heath today.

Where the animal came from is unclear, with footage showing it charging along Golden Hillock Road, just by Small Heath train station, into incoming traffic. Police first received reports about the bull at 9.30am on the road near New Bond Street, Digbeth, and officers were later filmed chasing the animal.

The situation is ‘ongoing’ as officers are working with council officials to ‘ensure the animal is taken to a safe location’.
