MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — The remains found at a construction site in Monongalia County on Monday have been identified as a man who had warrant in Maryland.
According to a release from the sheriff's office posted on Facebook, the remains were identified as 33-year-old Andrew Tyler Sweitzer, who was originally from Garrett County, Maryland and was living in Morgantown at the time of his death.
According to the Garrett County, Maryland Sheriff's Office, Sweitzer had a bench warrant for violation of probation.
The cause and manner of death are still being determined as the West Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner continues its examination.
