Around the end of 2021, Marina Diamandis found herself at something of a crossroads. The Welsh-born, LA-based musician had recently released her fifth album and, in doing so, completed the contract she’d signed with Atlantic Records as a 21-year-old ingenue doing the rounds of the London indie-pop circuit.
