A social enterprise centre in Possilpark which will help people to “grow their businesses” is set to open later this year.
Glasgow City Council has accepted almost £1m from the Scottish Government for that project — and a scheme which will improve the energy-efficiency of the Glue Factory venue on Farnell Street.
The £600,000 grant for an entrepreneurs centre will help housing association ng homes to host the facility at 252 Saracen Street.
It will include a fully equipped multimedia room and a network of support for 24 local entrepreneurs, and is set to be completed by December.
