An overnight water main break that occurred late June 5 has forced the closure of several major roadways in Dunwoody.
According to an announcement made by the city, a six-inch break occurred on Chamblee Dunwoody Road at 5800 Harris Circle. The road is closed to through traffic from Roberts to Spalding Drive. Cut-through street Dunwoody Road is also closed at Spalding Drive.
City officials say that about 75 customers are affected by the break, which is being repaired by DeKalb County Watershed crews.
The city also reported some minor flooding on the southbound side of Chamblee Dunwoody Road near the Redfield subdivision that the Dunwoody Police is monitoring.
