Irecently made two interesting discoveries about two tree species. Until recently, all the black cherry trees I have seen have been tall and mature, where I could see leaves but the flowers were too high up to view properly. Recently, a fairly small black cherry had broken about six feet up with the top still attached, so the leaves and flowers were close to the ground and next to a Hullett Sugar Bush trail.
