SUNSET HILLS, Mo. - Wednesday marked a special honor on a golf course for police officer Michael Langsdorf, who lost his life in 2019 protecting the citizens of St. Louis.

Langsdorf was honored at the Michael V. Langsdorf Memorial Golf Outing at Tapawingo National Golf Club.

The event, sponsored by the St. Louis Hero Network, was a sell out once again with more than 300 people participating.

The tournament raises money for people pursuing careers as first responders. In four years, the event has raised more than $200,000.
