Saratoga Springs explores new $25M police station plans

SARATOGA SPRINGS — There were eight of them then, charged to protect and to serve and each armed with a wooden nightstick, a pair of handcuffs and a simple revolver.

Nearly 150 years later, they count almost 100 in number and, despite adapting to the technological advances of the modern age, they are still in the same workspace — the increasingly cramped basement of Saratoga Springs City Hall.
