TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — We have an update on the waterline break that happened on Tuesday in Twin Falls.
The break happened at the intersection of Blue Lakes Boulevard South and Highland Avenue on Tuesday. Water was turned off while public works crews made repairs.
Twin Falls City Public Information Officer, Josh Palmer, said the water is back on. He added that while the water was out, no homes were affected as that line was connected to a water tank.
Crews have buried the new pipeline.
“They’ve replaced and they’ve tested the replacement waterline that’s in there. And it’s tested normal and so what they are doing now is there are gonna begin the process of backfilling in the excavated area and putting a temporary patch on it,” Palmer said.
