A pensioner has described her heartbreak of seeing her house of 28 years turned into what felt like a "war zone" following a massive fire. Jane Moore, 70, was helping out at a charity shop just across the road when the owner of the International Food Centre came rushing over to tell her about the blaze in Margate .
The mum-of-six ran with her "heart in her hand", terrified for her two cats who were still inside the property at the time of the fire. When she arrived in Norfolk Road, she was not allowed in for safety reasons.
