New Brunswick, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health has launched a focused ultrasound program for the treatment of essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease. The platform delivers MRI-guided focused ultrasound without surgical incision, according to a June 3 news release from the health system. After treatment on one side of the body, eligible patients can return at least nine months later to receive treatment on their second side, the release said.
