The international break could not have been more timely for the Orlando Pride, allowing them to rest and recover after a rocky five-game stretch.

Now the third-place Pride (6-3-1, 19 points) return to action against the Houston Dash (3-5-2, 11 points) on Saturday at Inter&Co Stadium, looking to return to winning ways.

“Anytime you can get that kind of rest within the season, it gives you a chance to reboot, recharge, take your mind off of football, and then you come back even fresher and more hungry,” Pride assistant coach Giles Barnes said.

“We know what our goal is come the end of the season, but it’s nice to have that time away to then, as we say, refresh and get going again.”
