SEATTLE — After spending months working on the case, police arrested a man in connection with a series of armed bank robberies across Seattle last year.

Detectives tracked the man to an apartment building on Maynard Avenue South and South Jackson Street in the Chinatown-International District.

On Wednesday at around 3 p.m., detectives arrested a 39-year-old man when he walked out of his home.

He was taken to Seattle Police Department Headquarters where he was interviewed then booked into the King County jail for investigation of robbery.

Detectives will refer five charges to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
