Maren Morris is opening up about where she stands with ex-husband Ryan Hurd .

If you were unaware, the 35-year-old “The Middle” singer split from Ryan , 38, in 2023 after five years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in January 2024 and agreed to split custody of their 5-year-old son Hayes .

In a new interview, Maren shared an update on her relationship with Ryan while opening up about co-parenting.

“We’re over a year out now … [and] we get along now and have moved past a lot of it,” Maren shared on Chelsea Handler ‘s Dear Chelsea podcast. “We’re neighbors, and I’m just so fortunate that we have put our son above each other’s s–t, and it’s better for the two of us if we’re getting along.”
