EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville Police say they caught a man with fentanyl, marijuana, a digital scale, and a substance that appeared to be meth.

Officers say they stopped Chase Nance late Thursday night around 11 p.m. after seeing him change lanes without signaling on Diamond Avenue.

Police say they had a warrant for Nance's arrest, so they removed him from the vehicle and put him in cuffs.

During a search, officers say they found some fentanyl in Nance's wallet, a hypodermic syringe, and some marijuana inside the vehicle.

Police say they also found a digital scale and a substance that looked like meth, but that Nance told them it wasn't.
