LUBBOCK, Texas -- A successful fugitive apprehension operation was announced Friday by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for the Lubbock and Abilene area, which resulted in the arrest of 44 different individuals, according to a press release from the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
According to the release, 12 individuals were reported to ICE for immigration issues and one person arrested had a sex offense warrant.
