BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A taste of Greece is coming to Buffalo this weekend as the annual Greek Festival returns, bringing traditional food, dancing, and culture to the Queen City.
Hosted by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the festival kicks off Friday at 11 a.m. and runs through Sunday at 8 p.m. Organizers say it’s one of the most immersive cultural experiences in Western New York and the largest fundraiser of the year for the church.
From handmade pastries and slow-roasted lamb, to folk dancing and live Greek music, visitors can experience the richness of Greek heritage without ever leaving Buffalo.
