ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Police have recovered lots of stolen construction equipment from the home of an Abilene shooting suspect.

The property was recovered from the home of Anthony Rangel Ortega, 44, during a search warrant execution May 27.

A press release from the Abilene Police Department reveals Ortega was the suspect in a shooting that happened at a home in north Abilene, and when detectives served a search warrant at his home during the investigation, they discovered property that had been stolen from several construction sites throughout Abilene.
