LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - That unusual June weather pattern that brought showers and thunderstorms Thursday is weakening.

High pressure is building back in, returning us to what we are used to at this time of the year, dry air and low humidity.

For Friday, rain chances linger in our local mountains while in the valley, expect a lot of sunshine.

The high on Friday will be 95.

It’s back to triple-digit temperatures this weekend with highs around 101 Saturday and 104 Sunday.

We could see a return to an Extreme Heat Risk for next week, with the hottest temperature expected on Monday at 107.

Another low-pressure area slides south from the Pacific Northwest next week.

It is not expected to do much more than cool our temperatures by a few degrees.
