Panathinaikos Athens owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos was banned from entering any arena in Greece for the next 10 months and was hit with a fine of 200,000 euros for his actions during Game 2 of the Finals between the Greens and Olympiacos Piraeus.

Giannakopoulos’ sanction will take place effective immediately, meaning that he won’t be able to attend any match of the Finals that are currently held. As for Panathinaikos , the club was sacntioned with a 44,000 fine for Giannakopoulos’ actions.

Panathinaikos coach Ergin Ataman was issued with a written “strict” reprimand while receiving a fine of 5,000 euros for statements that are “disgraceful” to the sport and took place after Game 2. The club also received a 10,000 fine for this incident.
