1350 Distilling , a patriotic-themed craft distillery on the eastern edge of downtown Colorado Springs, is permanently closing its doors on Sunday, it announced this week.

The decision was made "with a heavy heart," the announcement on Facebook and 1350 Distilling's website said, though a reason for the closing was not given.

"Since its inception, 1350 Distilling has been dedicated to honoring our country’s military and first responders through our unique branding, award-winning, high-quality products, and unwavering commitment to community engagement," the announcement read. "Over the years, we have built a loyal customer base, hosted countless events, and provided a gathering place for locals and visitors alike."
