ROCHESTER, Minn. — SPARK Children’s Museum is launching the Summer Bookworm Challenge, a reading program designed to keep children entertained and learning through August 31.
Children who participate will receive a free book and a Bookworm Reading Log, featuring prompts like “read with a hat on” and “read to a stuffed animal.” Completing these activities allows kids to track their reading journey in a creative way.
After July 1, participants who finish their logs can return to SPARK to claim a prize pack.
Megan Long, Education & Program Manager at SPARK, said, “Summer is the perfect time to help kids build a love of reading in playful ways.”
Families can sign up during SPARK's open hours or at special events in early June. Participation is included with daily admission or membership.
