CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) - A driver was charged with reckless driving after a citizen recorded the behavior.
According to Cortland police, the department was given a video by a citizen who also posted the video on social media showing a reckless driver Monday in the area of South High Street, near the Speedway and Burger King.
Using the video and Cortland's Flock camera system, the vehicle and driver were located.
The driver was issued a citation for reckless operation, pleaded guilty and will be sentenced at a later date, according to police.
Flock cameras (LPRs) read license plates as drivers pass the cameras. If a license plate is entered in the system, the Flock system will alert police. The cameras record all vehicles that pass in front of them, and that recording is stored for 30 da
