Princess Anne was once given a rather unusual gift for a royal, though apparently made good use of it.

According to reports, the Princess Royal was handed some "bespoke reusable nappies" during a visit to a factory who made them.

As part of a new Palace Confidential podcast, the Daily Mail's Rebecca English and Richard Eden went head-to-head in a quiz about gifts given to Royal Family members.

Asked by Luke Blackall whether it was true or false that Princess Anne had been given a box of reusable nappies, Rebecca replied: "That is true, that is true. She visited a factory that make reusable nappies."

In response, Luke suggested that the nappies may have come in handy for Anne's young grandchildren.
