JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The 2025 Mississippi State Fair will have some new additions to the experience.

MS Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gipson held a conference detailing highlights of the 12 day event.

The Miss Rodeo Queen and Miss Dixie National Pageants will be held during the state fair for the first time.

Andy Gipson announced the concert lineup featuring Montell Jordan & All-4-One, Cory Asbury, and Maddie & Tae with Taylor Holder.

Gipson and the Joni & Friends organization are collaborating to host the fair’s first Disability Friendly Day October 7th.

Joni & Friends Area Director Azia Smith says there will be wheelchair approved routes and a resource carnival.
