It’s trendy to say the Dolphins need a culture change, but no one has been specific about what must be done. I’m about to get specific.
The Dolphins, who are 28-25 (.528) in three years under coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier, need culture change in four areas: front office, player empowerment, locker room/dawgs and play calling.
What follows is an opinion based on 30 years covering pro football, basketball and baseball (including covering two Miami Heat championship teams and the last Dolphins team to win a playoff game). What I’ve been told about this team by players, what I’ve observed about this team during practices and games, and what I’ve observed from being in the locker room.
