Kierston Russell , the twin sister of Alabama Crimson Tide freshman quarterback Keelon Russell was found dead days after they both graduated high school .

Kierston, 18, a high school basketball standout who was set to attend the University of Alabama with her brother in August, was confirmed to have died from what "at this time appears to be non-criminal in nature," the Tuscaloosa Police Department said in a statement obtained by ESPN 's Chris Low on Thursday (June 5). The department said it didn't plan to release additional information at this time and asked for the public to respect the grieving family's privacy.
