Dog owner says her dog was killed and she was shot while on a walk

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Toledo woman is going through heartbreak, mourning the loss of her best friend, Buddy.

The woman said she took Buddy for a walk, but he didn’t make it home. She said the 4-year-old American bulldog was shot and killed by another dog owner.

“I really want my Buddy back, this is my baby, my baby, and I want him back,” said Tammy Hall, Buddy’s owner.

Not only was her dog killed, but Hall said she was also hit by the gunfire. Now she wants the person responsible to be held accountable to bring justice for her pup.

“She took my dog away from me, my life,” said Hall.

Hall showed 13 Action News the shoe she was wearing when she got shot in the foot. The bullet hole serves as a reminder of something she survived, but her precious Buddy did not.
