YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- Prosecution is wrapping up its case today against a York County teenager accused of shooting and killing his 12-year-old friend in 2023.
15-year-old Nolan Grove of Red Lion, Pennsylvania, is charged as an adult with murder and involuntary manslaughter after police say he shot 12-year-old Kain Heiland in the back, killing him, in April 2023.

Investigators say the gun belonged to Grove's father, who is not facing any charges in relation to the incident.
Once the prosecution wraps up today, the defense will have the opportunity to respond.
The trial will likely continue into next week.
