The Boston Licensing Board continues to hold hearings on applicants for the new neighborhood-specific and potentially lucrative all-alcohol licenses it has to dole out.
The board still has additional applications, filed by its May 23 deadline to consider before it begins to figure out who gets the neighborhood licenses, restricted to 13 specific Zip codes and not allowed to be resold, and a smaller number of more traditional licenses, which can be used anywhere in the city and resold - at values currently around $600,000.
