A Cerro Gordo County resident is facing at least 10 years in federal prison after being convicted Thursday on one count of methamphetamine possession with intent to deliver.
Dustin Burkhardt, 36, Rockwell, pleaded guilty to the charge in federal court in Sioux City.
At the plea hearing, evidence showed that on Sept. 29, law enforcement conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Burkhardt, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa.
