The Greenville Fire Department responded to a house fire early Wednesday morning in the area of South Eureka Street.
The call came in around 6:00 a.m., prompting multiple fire units to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and visible flames coming from the home.
Crews quickly conducted a primary search of the house and confirmed that no one was inside at the time of the fire. Firefighters then located the source of the blaze, which originated in a back bedroom, and began suppression efforts.
The fire was extinguished without incident, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
