BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - HOT AND MUGGY WEEKEND

We are looking at a very hot and muggy weekend. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 90°s across the entire local area. Factor in the high humidity and feels like temperatures will peak in the low triple digits. This doesn’t trigger any heat alerts but take the heat seriously as this is our first real taste of summer-like heat and humidity. Take heat related precautions if you plan to be outside for an extended period of time.

BASEBALL SUPER REGIONAL FORECAST

The LSU NCAA super regional this weekend will be hot. Dress comfortably for both especially Saturday’s game but also Sunday. Temperatures will be well into the 90°s Saturday afternoon after the 1 PM first pitch. We will be slightly cooler for Sunday’s game with the later start of 5
