BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man accused of receiving and saving graphic images of child sexual abuse has been arrested.

Detectives with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce, in coordination with the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General , arrested Kyle Ardoin, 18, of Prairieville.

He is charged with two counts of pornography involving kids under the age of 13 and one count of pornography involving juveniles.

Detectives with the ICAC Taskforce received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on April 9.

A warrant was issued for Ardoin’s arrest. He was later located in Pike County, MS., where he was arrested and transported to the Ascension Parish Jail.

This is an ongoing investigation.
