Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford has reflected on last season’s Championship title race with Leeds United .
Both clubs secured promotion to the Premier League, each finishing the campaign on an impressive 100 points. But, it was Daniel Farke’ s side who clinched the title on goal difference after winning their final six games of the season.
It had been a three-horse race for much of the campaign, but Sheffield United eventually slipped out of the automatic promotion places and later missed out in the play-off final. Leeds and Burnley emerged as the standout teams, but Trafford admitted their final game against Millwall felt “anticlimactic” after narrowly missing out on top spot to the Whites.
"The Millwall game, it was a weird game to be fair," he told Fozcast - The Ben Foster
