HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Henderson Police arrested a woman after they say threatened other motorists with a box cutter.

HPD says they received several reports of an armed woman approaching motorists around US Highway 60 and Watson Lane, starting at around 2:15 p.m. Thursday. Officers were told that a woman, later identified as Jacqueline Polies, entered a utility worker's truck and displayed a box cutter with the blade out.

The worker reportedly jumped out of the truck to call 911 after driving a short distance. Polies walked away from the truck.

Officials state additional 911 calls came in about Poiles approaching other drivers while armed and demanding a ride. Poiles was reportedly spotted at a nearby gas station and was allegedly engaged with another driver with the box cutter when off
