YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - The Youngstown City School District is holding a town hall this month so people can weigh in on the upcoming reconfiguration.

The town hall will be Wednesday, June 18 from 5-7 p.m. in the East High School auditorium (474 Bennington Ave.).

There will be a presentation on the plan to reconfigure the district by consolidating Chaney's and East's middle and high schools, as well as moving Youngstown Rayen Early College's middle and high schools.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

Additionally, you can weigh in on the plan online via a survey. The survey will close on June 12.

At a school board meeting last week, opinions were mixed on the idea.
