BASF Chattanooga is partnering with Chattanooga State Community College to host its TECH Academy program beginning Monday, June 9. The program is aimed at introducing students to technical and craft careers through skills classes, workshops, and industry hours.
"Now in its 10th year nationwide, TECH Academy gives participating students the opportunity to explore a wide range of STEAM-related career field opportunities through hands-on learning with industry professionals," say organizers.
Participating students will not only receive hands-on class sessions and workshops, they will also tour local manufacturing facilities for additional training for technical careers.
