BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Outstanding Mature Girlz organization is holding its annual conference for girls on Saturday, June 7.

This year's theme is Daughter of Light. Sashika Baunchand, founder and CEO, and club member McKenna Grace invite local girls to join this fun event. They will entertain and inform young girls on different issues that affect them. There will be guest speakers, musical performances, food, and more. The one-day event is at the Raising Cane's River Center.

The Pink Pre-Show starts at 9 a.m. The actual conference starts at 10 a.m. Doors will open at 8 a.m. It's not too late to sign up.
