SOUTH BLOOMFIELD, OH – South Bloomfield is one of 48 law enforcement agencies across Ohio awarded new state funding to bolster efforts in reducing violent crime. Governor Mike DeWine announced more than $3 million in grants on Thursday as part of the latest round of the Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program.
The South Bloomfield Police Department will receive $12,000 in grant funding to support ongoing crime prevention and public safety efforts within the Pickaway County community. The funding will assist with initiatives such as targeted patrols in high-crime areas, crime-solving technology upgrades, and investigative overtime expenses.
“We’re proud to support the work of our local law enforcement agencies to use technology and other innovative practices to enhance public safety,”
